The reason: in file explorer (Thunar) you select something in the navigation tree (on the left), when you click on an item in the right pane and the selection in the navigation tree dos not change at all its colour so you don&#39;t know if that still has focus or not. For me a good theme is distinguishing VERY CLEARLY between something selected and having focus and something selected and not having focus inside the same application window.
