What application did you try to use to fill the PDF forms? I was not aware of that bug. I just tried it and the bug you mention does happen in Evince (Gnome&#39;s Document Viewer), but not when using Okular and not in <a href="https://www.pdfescape.com/" rel="nofollow">https://www.pdfescape.com/</a>.
